When budding youth poet Will Shakespeare (LeBorgne) takes a wrong turn and ends up in Verona, Italy, the characters and contention he discovers are far from his naive expectations. Witnessing firsthand the infamous tragedy, Shakespeare recounts every hour verbatim that leads to the publishing of the world’s most famous love story. Or so everyone believed. Verona, truly a city riddled with demons and supernatural forces, is home to La Mort (Mano), the Queen of the Night and master of human life. She guards the late souls of the tragedy with utmost control until the day Mercutio Galtone (Eyzen) lays eyes on the headstrong and eccentric Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Loconte). The young composer ventures through life with a haunting presence lurking in his mind and soul. Always drawn to the tragic tale, he is pulled closer and closer to the brink of the supernatural, as well as discovering the sole power that not even La Mort can conquer.
